Captain George Fragkiskos was born and raised on Naxos, and has been sailing the Cyclades professionally since 1982. Over four decades of bareboat and skippered charters, he has built a reputation for quiet expertise — the kind that comes only from long familiarity with the Aegean, its weather, and the small bays on charts nobody else bothers to open. He still runs Annabella most days in season.
George started sailing out of Naxos Town in 1982 — the harbour is different now, the boats are different, the island is different, but the mornings at sea have barely changed. Ask him about a particular bay on a particular day and he’ll probably tell you the wind it needs, the month it’s best in, and which taverna to walk to afterwards.
