Nine hours. One yacht. The Aegean.
What a sailing day with us actually looks like — honest, unhurried, shaped by the wind.
- 09:00
Meeting
You arrive at Rendez Vous café on the Naxos Town seafront. Your captain is waiting. Ten minutes of introductions, then on to the boat.
- 09:30
Cast off
A short motor out of the harbour, then sails up as soon as the breakwater is behind us.
- 11:00
First swim
A long stop at a clear bay. Snorkel gear comes out. Coffee or a cold drink from the galley.
- 12:30
A cave, or a second cove
Depending on the tour — into a sea cave, or a second shorter swim at a nearby cove.
- 13:30
Lunch ashore
Moor up at an island taverna. You eat. We keep an eye on the boat.
- 15:30
Back out
Under sail again. On most days we make a final swim stop at a quiet cove on the way home.
- 18:00
Return
Back in the old harbour as the light turns.
This is the shape of a typical shared day. On a private charter the timing and the stops are yours to adjust.
How it's different from a cruise
We are not a catamaran-cruise operation. The boat is smaller, the group is smaller, and the sails do the work. You'll feel the boat heel when the wind picks up; you'll hear water on the hull instead of an engine; you'll arrive at lunch stops a little later than the chartered cats and leave them a little quieter.
What you don't need to worry about
Sailing experience. Seasickness medication. What to order at lunch. Whether the weather is OK for the route. All of those are our problem, not yours.
What makes a good day, in our experience
- Arriving ten minutes early so you're not rushed.
- Bringing a light sweater — the wind at sea is cooler than the harbour.
- Leaving phones in the cabin for most of the day.
- Saying yes to the snorkel.
