Booking
What time do your sailing tours run?
Daily tours depart Naxos Town at 09:00 and return at 18:00 — a full sailing day. Private charters can start earlier or run later on request.
Where do we meet?
On the Naxos Town seafront, in front of Rendez Vous café. Be there ten minutes before departure; the yacht is moored a few steps away.
When is the best time to sail?
Early June, late August, and September are the sweet spots — warm water, softer meltemi, quieter islands. May and October are beautiful for travellers who prefer cool mornings and empty bays.
What's the difference between a shared tour and a private charter?
On a shared tour you join up to seven other guests on a set route. On a private charter the yacht is yours for the day — your group only, your pace, and a route we plan with you. Same yacht, same captain, different day.
How does cancellation work?
Free cancellation up to 48 hours before your tour. Weather cancellations from our side are refunded in full. See /legal/cancellation/ for the full policy.
On board
Is lunch included?
No — and deliberately so. Our shared tours stop at an island taverna mid-day, and the food you'll have ashore is better than anything we could cook on board. Snacks and cold drinks are complimentary throughout the day.
What's on board?
Snorkel gear for everyone, towels, underwater camera, a shaded cockpit, swim ladder and fresh-water shower on the platform, a galley for snacks and drinks, and a sound system if you want it. Wi-Fi is deliberately absent.
What should I bring?
Swimwear, a towel if you prefer your own, sunscreen (reef-friendly if possible), a light sweater — the wind at sea makes the afternoon cooler than you'd expect — and soft-soled shoes.
The tours
Will we definitely do the tour I selected?
Almost always, yes. On a rare windy morning your captain may swap the planned route for a sheltered one — weather always decides the best route, not the booking page. We'll always tell you what's changing and why.
Is the boat suitable for children?
Yes — for children comfortable on a boat and in open water. Child-sized life jackets are on board. For very young children, a private charter is usually a better fit than a shared tour.
Weather
What happens if the weather is bad?
Your captain makes the call in the morning, not the day before. If we cancel for weather, you're refunded in full — no questions, no fees. If we adjust the route, you still have a full day at sea, just in sheltered waters.
I get seasick. Should I sail?
Yes — but tell us when you book. The route we pick, the seat you take, and a preventative tablet from any pharmacy usually sort it. Our boats stay in sheltered water whenever the wind is up, which is most of the reason we still sail on days the open-sea tours can't.
General
Where should I park?
There's free parking along the causeway by the Portara and paid parking a few minutes' walk from the seafront. We recommend arriving a little early so parking never becomes a concern.
